Immersive Dinner – ASC

Normal Studio was enlisted by ASC to create the visual content and design the immersive layout for the philanthropic dinner. This experience has helped the charity fund research and programs to transform the lives of children with arthritis, empowering them to reclaim their futures. 

The setup consisted of several projection walls placed around the guests, along with a projection system on the tables. By using multiple surfaces, the environments multiplied with for example, a waterfall flowing down the wall accompanied by fish swimming across the tables. 

Our team were also mandated to supervise the installation on-site and ensure the best possible display for guests. At the request of the client, we created a series of visuals with a surrealist approach to natural themes such as waterfalls and forests.  

We readjusted the content to perfectly align with tables and coordinated with Chef Bombana and his team to ensure the visuals didn’t overwhelm the food. Working closely with the organizers, the different visuals were set up to be changed at key moments during dinner to reinforce the ‘wow’ factor. Lasting over 4 hours, the visuals successfully delivered an elevated dinner experience with no interruptions. 

Pushing the limits of experiential dining, the event raised over 1.3 million dollars for ASC and showcases the exceptional attraction of this type of experience.
