As CEO, Sébastien aims for Normal Studio to become the preferred creative partner for its clients, fostering sustainable and innovative collaborations. To achieve this, he restructured the teams by adding department heads, implemented new communication and sales strategies, and explored new international markets.
Before taking the helm of Normal Studio in 2017, Sébastien worked as a technical designer for the company for over 5 years. In this role, he designed complex video systems for projects such as Cité Mémoire and Toruk by Cirque du Soleil, involving the calibration of numerous projectors for immersive multimedia shows.
Naturally gifted with technological equipment, Sébastien conceives and manages systems that have enabled him to oversee large-scale projects for the studio as well as for Robert Lepage’s Moulin à Images (Ex Machina Company) and the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics ceremonies.
Sébastien is an inspiring leader who drives the studio’s growth through his communication skills, quick wit, and expertise in multimedia. He motivates our teams to continuously innovate in their fields of expertise and to find fulfillment in their work.
Sébastien holds a college diploma in computer-assisted music design and a leadership certificate from the Leadership Institute. He conducts an annual workshop on video projection at John Abbott College.
