A multidisciplinary musical blending heritage and contemporary

Normal Studio travelled to Paris, where the show was produced and premiered, to create video content for this modern, electrifying interpretation of Alexander Dumas's infamous novel.

A Swashbuckling Story

Stage directors Dominic Champagne and René Richard Cyr chose the classic “All for one and one for all!” as the theme behind their festive and sensual proposal of The 3 Musketeers. Lionel Florence and Patrice Guirao adapted Alexandre Dumas’s infamous novel for the stage.

The show revolves around a majestic stage design comprised of four huge moveable panels. Highly detailed visuals with bright and vibrant colours lavishly adorned these mobile projection surfaces.

The visual design melds the romanticism of The 3 Musketeers’ era with a modern electro-pop inspired stage direction.

Taking example from classical theatre’s traditional sets, our team created a technological environment that gives the illusion that the characters are evolving inside old masters’ paintings.
