Transforming traditional country music with a digital stage design

Dixie Cup Productions and Fireplay commissioned Normal Studio to design and produce visuals for popular country singer Thomas Rhett’s tour, Life Changes.

A young emergent singer

Thomas Rhett Akins, Jr. is an american country singer-songwriter who took his first steps in the music industry with the success of It Goes Like This, released in 2013, mixing R&B grooves with pop and soul flavours.

A visual world in his image

The Life Changes album is an homage to country pop that relates to Thomas Rhett’s personal story: his marriage, the adoption of his first child, his career. It was a source of inspiration for our team in the conception of the show’s visuals.

Rivetting and evolving visuals

Fireplay, a design and production studio based in New York, created the luminous onstage structure on which we projected both timecoded and sound-reactive animations.
